The seed oil from Asian spiderflower (Cleome viscosa) can inhibit Vomiting and Pain.


Ø  Asian spiderflower is an annual, sticky herb found as a common weed all over the plains of India, Pakistan and throughout the tropics of the world. 





Ø  The leaves, seeds, and roots of the plant are widely used in traditional medicines against intestinal worms, vitamin-C deficiency (Scurvy), antiseptic (preventing the growth of disease-causing microorganisms),



as a tonic for heart, improve digestion, reduce fever  induces sweating, against epilepsy, against diarrhea and skin diseases.





Ø  This study evaluated fixed oil from the seeds of Asian spiderflower for pain-relieving and

against vomiting activity in mice and chicks, respectively.







. The results showed significant analgesic and antiemetic activities of Asian spiderflower fixed oil.
