Ø   Asian spiderflower is an annual, sticky herb found as a common weed all over the plains of India, Pakistan and throughout the tropics of the world.  Ø   The leaves, seeds, and roots of the plant are widely used in traditional medicines against  intestinal worms , vitamin-C deficiency (Scurvy), antiseptic   ( preventing the growth of disease-causing microorganisms) , as a tonic for heart, improve digestion, reduce fever   induces sweating , against epilepsy, against diarrhea and skin diseases. Ø   This study evaluated fixed oil from the seeds of Asian spiderflower for pain-relieving and against vomiting activity in mice and chicks, respectively. .
